Neil and Christian were married in the Parish of Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides on the west coast of Scotland where they had at least six children. The family emigrated to Canada about 1952 and settled on the Lot 21, Concession 3 of Bruce Township, Bruce County jn what was then Upper Canada.
